Accounts, API keys, and billing are live

Pricing, authentication, usage controls, and key management now live under the same Blog section as product releases, but tracked as announcements instead of release notes.

Billing

We want release posts to stay focused on the core platform. That means access, pricing, and billing updates now ship as announcements inside the Blog instead of being mixed into release notes.

What is live

  • Email and password sign-up and login
  • Password reset via email
  • API key creation, copy, and revocation
  • Account-scoped and knowledge-base-scoped API keys
  • Free and Pro plan support through Polar billing
  • Usage tracking and plan limit enforcement

Why we split this from releases

A release post should answer one question clearly: what changed in the product itself? Pricing changes, authentication improvements, and billing milestones matter, but they are a different kind of update. Treating them as announcements keeps the release log cleaner and easier to scan.

Core platform changes belong in Release posts. Business and access changes belong in Announcement posts.

We never used vector embeddings. Here's why.

For our target use case, a tree-structured index gives better transparency, simpler operations, and cleaner citations than a traditional vector database stack.
